Keeping with our recent theme of potentially-undiagnosed sleep apnea, the team at Federici Dental recently discovered a study about car crashes involving sleep-deprived drivers and passengers. Two of the most common problems that cause sleepiness are adults not sleeping enough (which is typically around 8 hours per night) or obstructive sleep apnea, which we can help treat at our Manhawkin office.

If you or a loved one have difficultly with snoring at night (or difficulty breathing in general), or exhibit any other signs and symptoms of sleep apnea, we encourage you to schedule a consultation with us, as we can help you get the help you need!

There were some interesting findings in a recent study about car crashes involving those that have not gotten enough shuteye, and we invite you to find out more here: Studying Car Crashes Involving Those Sleep-Deprived, & Unaware Of It.

Response from Dr. Dave

"Many patients we screen have become so acclimated to their symptoms they do not even realize they suffer from it until we treat them and they feel so much better.  Most who after receiving their results of their At-home Sleep Studies are shocked at the results."

-Dr. David E. Federici, DMD
